Throughout the Christmas break the go-kart was running. We also have lots of good videos. There is something about a go-kart that brings out the kid in us. The boys have grown (okay, me too!) as you can see by the pictures and we barely fit in the karts. While Randy and Ethan headed off to the Campus Outreach New Year's Conference in Chattanooga, Charles was busy at work designing a larger size kart.

My niece Ashlee, had her twins a couple days before Christmas. Thank you Lord for Max and Maggie's safe arrival! They arrived six weeks early so they'll be in the NICU for several weeks and when they do come home they'll need to watch the germs. I sewed some masks for Ashlee for visitors to use when holding the twins and I think they turned out pretty cute and functional. I made adult and child size. From the pictures below, they arrived safely in Utah ♥

Merry Christmas! We had a special day all together, opening gifts and talking on the phone to family. I love technology and we were able to Skype Brenda which was a blast. She took a picture of us and sent it to me! We all opened special gifts and lucky me, mine were tax deductible... mowing ear muffs and a little cart to pull behind our four wheeler for when I do work on the farm. My husband knows me so well! No gift compares to the gift God has given us...His Son! God bless you and Merry Christmas across the miles.

Merry Christmas Eve to our family and friends. We spent our special evening with family, visiting Nana, Steve and Japhy in Johnson City. It's been our tradition to spend this night together and one we look forward to each year. Christmas this year has been unusually warm and rainy, breaking records with temperatures in the 70's. No sign of snow in sight. Nana and Steve had a plant blooming in their yard and I noticed the honey bees were even out. We spent our evening gathered around the table eating a delicious meal prepared by Nana and visiting. I thought of our families in Utah and New York, also gathered together, celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior. Our blessings are overflowing. We send our love to each of you♥

And what did I do during the Christmas break? I spent my time cooking and baking for my men...I couldn't keep them filled. Each day I baked their favorites and cooked a huge meal only to see it eaten in one sitting. A new day dawned with a whole new meal! I sure love being their mother and count it all joy♥
During Christmas break, the men worked on several projects. Everyday, you could see them out in the garage tinkering. I got such joy watching them all work together on an old go-kart, trying to get it running. One go-kart project turned into another and soon they were talking about building a go-kart. This is what I kindly refer to as Go Kart Fever!

Randy and Ethan arrived home from college tonight and I'm thrilled to have all our men underfoot for a week. I think the last time we were all together was May, so I feel extra blessed that God is allowing this time as family! PS. Randy recovered well from his surgery and is feeling much better.

Randy had a special procedure done at the hospital and everything went well. He was in and out the same day and the whole experience was quite the blessing. The doctors and staff were awesome and I was doubly blessed as the mom by his side. God bless you Randy!

Charles is Home...and I was one excited mom to finally hug him! He drove in early this morning, around 5:00 am safe and sound. I came home from work and found him in the kitchen working on his aquarium. The first thing I noticed was how muscular he was from three months of hiking...calves of steel. He also brought home an elk skull and antlers he found while in the mountains. Pretty cool and even more cool, is that he found room in his car to bring it home, along with his bike. He tells us stories of his adventures as we spend time visiting. The bottom picture is a big rock that he text to me while in Wyoming one day, saying it reminded him of me. Boy, that touched my heart.♥ We love you Bud and thank the Lord for His protection. Welcome home!
